Welcome!

The Katz Library at UMA is proud to welcome you to the University.  When you enrolled, you were automatically eligible for literally millions of online journals and books from around the state.  We offer virtual or in-person research assistance by appointment, just ask.  In order to help you take advantage of these resources, we've put together this very basic introduction to the library.  If you're one of our Center or Site-based students, take a look at the 'LIBRARY RESEARCH GUIDE' on the left hand side for special instructions.

Let us know (email, call, or utilize one of the chat services available) what you need, when you need it, and we will do our best to make sure you have what you need to succeed.

Assignment

This was created as a way to get you to try the various services--once you've mastered the organization of information at the libraries, doing research will be simple.
