Maine Revised Statutes

The Maine Revised Statutes (M.R.S.) is the subject compilation or code of the Public Laws of Maine.  It is organized into 39 titles, each covering a general area of law containing all the civil and criminal laws that apply to the citizens of Maine.

The Maine Revised Statutes Annotated (M.R.S.A.) can be found Online, or in physical copies at :
-The Maine State Law and Legislative Reference Library in Augusta
-The Donald L Garbrecht Law Library, University of Maine School of Law in Portland 
-The Nathan and Henry B. Cleaves Law Library in Portland 

and at most courthouses in Maine.
