Faculty Services

A guide for ways to enhance your courses with the help of UMA Libraries.

Subject Specialists

University of Maine at Augusta librarians work with specific programs around the following:

  • Collection Development: Librarian liaisons collaborate with their program faculty to ensure the libraries' print and digital collections meet their needs.
  • Scholarly Communication: Librarian liaisons partner with faculty around producing research, using open educational materials, copyright help, digital curation needs, and Creative Commons licensing.
  • Information Literacy: Librarian liaisons support faculty around student research and teaching, material accessibility, and embedded librarianship.
