The Indigo Book
The Indigo Book is a Creative Commons Copyright-Free Alternative to the Blue Book. You can use it just as you would the Harvard Blue Book for guidance on citing the law, but at no cost to you. This is a great resource you can use anywhere--on your computer, tablet, or phone.
Uniform Maine Citations
Uniform Maine Citations provides updated rules for the citation of Maine legal authorities, including constitutional provisions, statutory and legislative materials, judicial decisions, court rules, treatises, periodicals, and miscellaneous Maine authorities.

APA Legal references

APA Legal References @ Purdue OWL
Most legal materials are cited using Bluebook style, which is the standard legal citation style used in all disciplines (see Bluebook style in "The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation," 2015). APA defers to Bluebook style for legal materials and uses those templates and patterns in bibliographies. This resource lists some of the common legal references APA users might need in their work, but it is not exhaustive. Please note, legal conventions may differ outside the US.
