  • understand what tools are needed for the purpose needed
  • give appropriate credit to the work of others

To Earn The Level 2 Badge

You will need to:

  • have earned the Level 1 Information Literacy badge
  • review material on library research elements
  • meet one or more times with a reference librarian for an in-depth research consultation, take an information literacy course taught by a UMS Librarian, or attend an information literacy session as part of a workshop or class in a program.

Evidence

You will need to:

  • Complete a 10 question quiz with 80% or higher score
  • Submit a self-reflection based on the learning that occurred

Authorized UMS library staff will verify you have completed the required tasks and approve your work.
