Gremlin: Meaning & Pop Culture Origin

"Gremlin" refers to a person that does something without regards to the consequences to themselves or others--much like the creatures from the 1984 hit film Gremlins that sparked several sequels.

The term was re-popularized in more recent years by rapper Kodak Black in his hit song "Super Gremlin."

If someone is to eat food that might be potentially undercooked, a friend might say: "Oh man, you are super gremlin."
